Masking is a process done prior to paint which masks certain areas on a part from the paint which will be applied. Freedom maintains a large inventory of masking plugs and caps and routinely sources custom masking materials for customers.
Freedom maintains a fully staffed masking department which is capable of masking thousands of parts per day, depending of course on the complexity of masking required. Freedom also works with a network of vendors who develop and mass produce custom designed masking solutions.
In addition to that, Freedom’s in-house tooling / rack building department has also successfully produced numerous hard masking solutions, which are incorporated into the tooling to hang parts and can be used over and over.
